Special stitching software allows merging of shots to create panoramic images in situations beyond the optical capabilities of even extreme wide-angle lenses.  (see next page for finished result.)   In this example,  the panoramic format adds to the drama of the image and helps convey the designer's vision for this somewhat confined space.
